checkbox-cli software package provides Command line interface for checkbox (transitional package), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install checkbox-cli
checkbox-cli is installed in your system.
Make ensure the checkbox-cli package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep checkbox-cli *
You will get with checkbox-cli package name, version, architecture and description in a table
